It seems like the perfect way to sell a skate. Destroy a huge contest, release a skate the next week. I’m sold. This is the skate that OG remz fans have been waiting for, and not a minute too soon! I’m not the guy that designed them, so I’ll shut up and let THE BOSS tell you all about his baby…
There you have it. I do have a few things to add: Deeper v-cut, more toe-pointing motion= higher hops. It’s science. The bulky padding is gone, creating a slimmer fit, and better control. They did keep the 03-09 toecap/soul system, but why fix something that isn’t broken? and did you see the colorway?!? All around, this skate is as hot as the neighbor’s step-daughter visiting for the summer, except the skate’s crazy step-father isn’t going to threaten your life after a steamy hand-holding sesh.
Did you happen to catch this edit out of France? Galileo sent a professional production crew to spend a day with the man. They were talking about his 666 foot long rail grind back in the day when they asked “you think you could do it again today?” he responded “I don’t see why not”. It’s a great little edit, even though you can’t hear what they’re saying.
