New k2′s

newk2's

Ok if these are fake then that is one amazing photoshop job. K2 has always had the potential to take over the industry again just like they did with the original fatty. But they just couldn’t ever get it right. Hopefully this skate can bring them out of the clearence bin at “insert name here sports” store.

It looks like these have a weird hybrid old sole/UFS sole plate. blending parts of each model to make a new design kind of like voltron but with plastic and less cat’s.

I don’t have much info but when some drops you know were to find it.

RnR is back on track! maybe K2 will be too.

Julian Bah’s Beat up Rollerblades

Bah’s skates after 3 months of skating. Looks durable to me. I don’t remember that screw on the sole plate. Must be part of the final production. I talked to our rep and he said they should be shipping any day now.

Rollerblade decided their video wasn’t good enough for you.

Well I guess the guy or Rollerblade or someone involved with making the “Hyser indepth look at the Solo series Video” decided. They didn’t want you to see it yet. They removed the video from youtube. Lame.

If it shows up again I’ll repost it. Sorry guys.

New Rollerblade skates, and BBQ

Skates and BBQRB tribe

RB estilo vcut

RB estilo vcut

Hey, on our way home from Houston and San Antonio last weekend, we met up with our Rollerblade rep in Austin, TX. Over some nasty BBQ, we discussed and checked out the new skates.

The only one with removable cuff and strap is the Estilo model (the red and black skate). You can also see the groove that will be on the production skate in the pics. The vcut is not very deep on any of the models.

However, I tried the Estilo on, and was impressed. They fit me very well. The in-step buckle really locks your foot into the skate for a nice feel. Rollerblade really stepped up their game with the new liners, as well.

Feel free to ask questions by giving us a call, or by leaving a comment.
